Jakarta: Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan was asked to consider an introspection. Anies's performance has been disorganized, for example regarding the preparation of Jakarta regional budget.
"It’s like he’s trapped in the forest. Entering the forest without having any ideas, he doesn't want to ask questions either," said Chairman of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) for Jakarta’s Regional People's Representative Council (DKI DPRD) Gembong Warsono to Medcom.id on Monday, November 11, 2019.
Gembong assess Anies does not really evaluate every performance. In fact, Anies's policies have drawn a lot of criticism.
Gembong also says that Anies often blames his subordinates. Including, the system left by the previous governor.
"First, he blamed his subordinates, second, he blamed the system," Gembong said.
He also criticized Anies's disproportionate leadership in managing the system. Gembong emphasized that the system cannot be blamed, especially when it comes to e-budgeting.
Gembong also criticized the controversy behind Anies's attitude. He suspects that Anies has a certain motive behind his policies.
"Making the sidewalk by cutting down trees, I myself do not understand (Anies’s attitude)," Gembong said.
