Jakarta: Police have arrested the leader of the Jamaah Ansharut Daulah (JAD) in the North Sumatra-Aceh region. The terror suspect have been identidied with the initials Y alias Yasir alias Anto.
"Y alias Yasir alias Anto is the leader of the terror netwrk. He was caught in Loket Sartika, Medan, North Sumatra," National Police spokesperson Brigadier General Dedi Prasetyo said here on Monday, November 18, 2019.
"Y was recruited by Abu Ibrahim Al Hasimi Al Quraishi. He joined a training camp in Mount Sibayak," the National Police official added.
A total of 46 suspected terorists have been arrested by the police in the past few days. 23 of them are related to related to last week's suicide bombing at the Medan Metropolitan City Police Headquarters in North Sumatra.

Six people were slightly injured as a result of the incident. The victims are four police officers, one freelance employee, and one civilian.
