23 Medan Bombing Suspects Arrested

Medan: A total of 23 suspected terrorists related to the suicide bombing at the Medan Metropolitan City Police Headquarters, North Sumatra have been caught by police. 
 
"Until now 23 suspects have been arrested. Previously there were 18, now it has increased by five people," North Sumatra Regional Police Chief Inspector General Agus Andrianto said, in Medan, North Sumatra on Monday, November 18, 2019.
 
According to him, two of the five suspects surrendered to Hamparan Perak Police Precinct, on Sunday, November 17, 2019. In the meantime, two suspects were killed during the operation. 

Police seized several explosives, homemade firearms, sharp weapons, arrows and air rifles in several locations.
They immediately destroyed the seized explosives.
 
A suicide bomb hit the Medan Metropolitan City Police Headquarters on Wednesday, November 13, 2019. The perpetrator reportedly wore an online motorcycle taxi jacket. 
 
Six people were slightly injured as a result of the incident. The victims are four police officers, one freelance employee, and one civilian.
