Jakarta: The National Covid-19 Handling Task Force on Wednesday announced 4,267 new covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of confirmed covid-19 cases in Indonesia to 373.109.
Based on data issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Health, from Tuesday Noon to Wednesday Noon, the total number of recovered covid-19 patients across Indonesia was up by 3,856 to 297,509.
Meanwhile, within the same period, the total number of confirmed covid-19 deaths in the country rose by 123 to 12,857.
On Wednesday morning, the number of covid-19 patients in the Athletes Village Emergency Hospital, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta stood at 2,515.
According to Joint Regional Defense Command I (Kogabwilhan I) Spokesperson Marine Colonel Aris Mudian, 1,419 covid-19 patients with mild to moderate symptoms are being treated in towers 6 and 7, while 1,096 asymptomatic covid-19 patients are undergoing self-quarantine in towers 4 and 5.
Operated by the central government, inpatient care centers at towers 6 and 7 were launched in March, while self-isolation flats at towers 4 and 5 were launched in mid-September.
