Jakarta: Chairman of the Great Indonesia Movement ( Gerindra) Party Prabowo Subianto is still reluctant to respond to the 2024 presidential election survey results.
Several surveys placed the defense minister at the top.
"Of course," said Prabowo shortly when asked about the survey results at the Gerindra Party
headquarters, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, Tuesday evening.
Meanwhile, Gerindra Party executive chairman Sufmi Dasco Ahmad stated that his party is still in the political consolidation stage.
He assessed that discussions pertaining to the 2024 presidential race is too premature.
"We'll take it slow," Dasco said.
According to him, it is still possible for Prabowo to join the presidential race in 2023. election. Although, as Dasco said, this issue has yet to be discussed with the Gerindra Party chairman. (Translator: Natasha Celia)
