Tangerang: A total of 8,632 junior high school (SMP) and high school (SMA) students in Tangerang City, Banten, began receiving vaccine injections. Pfizer vaccine injection as preparation for face-to-face learning (PTM).
"This is in preparation for PTM, hopefully with this vaccine it will go well," said Deputy Mayor of Tangerang, Sachrudin, Wednesday, September 1, 2021.
He hoped that the implementation of PTM would run smoothly. His party is waiting for instructions from the Province of Banten.
Meanwhile, Acting Head of the Tangerang City Health Office, Dini Anggraeni, said today as many as 8,623 students from the junior and senior high school levels were vaccinated. The first dose of vaccine on the first day has reached 52 percent.
"The two-day plan will start today and we will evaluate it first. We will use Pfizer, continue to use the Avatar application, and accelerate the implementation of vaccinations," said Dini.
Dini added that the implementation of vaccination for students in the city of Tangerang in order to form immunity. The vaccination program is carried out simultaneously to prepare PTM.
