Jakarta Postpones Face-to-Face Learning as Covid-19 Cases Surge

Jakarta : The Jakarta Provincial Government has decided to postpone the implementation of face-to-face learning in the region (PTM). 
 
"The Jakarta Education Agency decided to postpone trials" said Jakarta Education Agency spokesperson Taga Radja, here on Friday.
 
The decision was taken by the Jakarta Education Agency after Indonesia's capital recorded an increase in covid-19 cases. 

"This shows that we understand the current situation," Taga stated.
 
Taga revealed that there are no schools that reported any covid-19 case during the trial phase. 
 
Previously, the Jakarta Health Department (Dinkes) revealed that 616 out of 4.144 covid-19 cases are people under the age of 18. (Translator: Natasha Celia)
