Jakarta Govt to Provide 166 Rooms at 3 Isolation Centers

Jakarta: The Jakarta provincial government has said that three isolation centers in East Jakarta, North Jakarta and South Jakarta will provide a total of 166 isolation rooms for asymptomatic covid-19 patients.
 
The three isolation centers are Graha Wisata Taman Mini Indonesia Indah in East Jakarta, Jakarta Islamic Centre in North Jakarta and Graha Wisata Ragunan in South Jakarta.
 
"Graha Wisata Taman Mini Indonesia Indah has 48 rooms, Jakarta Islamic Centre has 52 rooms, while Graha Wisata Ragunan has 66 rooms," Jakarta Health Agency's Public Health Division Head Fify Mulyani said here on Tuesday.

According to the Jakarta Health Agency official, the three isolation centers are still being prepared by her agency. Every room can accommodate 2-3 asymptomatic covid-19 patients. The policy is based on Governor's Decree Number 979 Year 2020.
 
"Covid-19 patients are no longer allowed to undergo self-isolation at home," Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan said during a virtual press conference on September 11.
 
On Monday, Jakarta provincial government announced that the total number of confirmed covid-19 cases in Indonesia's capital was up by 807 to 72,117.
