Jakarta: The Athletes Village Emergency Hospital currently accommodates 1,240 covid-19 patients with mild to moderate cases and 844 asymptomatic covid-19 patients.
Operated by the central government, towers 6 and 7 of the Kemayoran Athletes Village are used to treat covid-19 patients with mild-to moderate symptoms, while towers 4 and 5 of the building complex are used to house covid-19 patients with no symptoms.
"The number of patients at towers 6 and 7 decreased by 21 from 1,261," said the Joint Regional Defense Command I (Kogabwilhan I) Spokesperson Marine Colonel Aris Mudian in a written statement issued on Friday morning.
"Meanwhile, the number of patients at towers 4 and 5 decrased by 110 from 9454," the spokesperson stated.
On Thursday, Indonesia's Covid-19 Handling Task Force confirmed 3,565 new covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of confirmed covid-19 cases in Indonesia to 404,048.
From Wednesday noon to Thursday noon, the total number of recovered covid-19 patients in Indonesia rose by 3,985 to 329,778, while the country's official covid-19 death toll increased by 89 to 13,701.
