Jakarta: The National Covid-19 Handling Task Force confirmed on Friday 4,094 new covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of confirmed covid-19 cases in Indonesia to 324,658.
Based on data from the Indonesian Ministry of Health, from Thursday noon to Friday noon, the total number of confirmed covid-19 recoveries across Indonesia was up by 3,607 to 247,667.
Meanwhile, in the same period, the total number of confirmed covid-19 deaths in the country rose by 97 to 11,677.
On the other hand, the number of covid-19 patients with mild to moderate symptoms and asymptomatic covid-19 patients at the Athletes Village Emergency Hospital, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta continues to decrease.
The emergency hospital registered 2,951 covid-19 patients on Friday, down from 3,033 covid-19 patients on Thursday.
1,421 covid-19 patients with mild to moderate symptoms are being treated at towers 6 and 7, while 1530 asymptomatic covid-19 patients are undergoing self-isolation at towers 4 and 5.
