Depok: As many as 38,6 kilograms of marijuana have been confiscated by police from two students under the initials, FF and MSF, in the city of Depok on Sunday. Dozens of kilograms of marijuana were received from their boss at the correctional facility.
"We are still investigating the drug dealers who are still students. They allegedly received the drug from inside the facility,” said the resor police chief, Azis Andriansyah on Monday, October 14th, 2019.
Azis said that the case was exposed after the police received information that several students were consuming illegal drugs. The police officers only found 1 kilogram of marijuana from FF.
"Our team is also investigating the other student, MSF, and they have found 38 kilograms of marijuana from him," he said.
MSF admitted that as many as 10 kilograms of marijuana were sold out. Azis said that the students used to be consumers prior to becoming drug dealers.
"As time went on, MSF and FF decided to engage in illegal drug trafficking after they found out that they would make a lot of fortune from selling marijuana. They would receive 500,000 rupiah from the delivery of one kilogram of marijuana,” he said.
Azis also said that the students delivered marijuana two times a day. The marijuana was delivered in Depok, Jakarta and Bekasi. "As long as it is sold out,” he said.
MSF and FF are now arrested in the police HQ of Depok. They are charged for violating Law number 45 year 2009 concerning narcotics with the possibility of serving 20-year sentence.
