Jakarta: The number of covid-19 patients receiving treatment at Athletes Village Emergency Hospital, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta reached 6,191 on Friday, according to Indonesia's Covid-19 Handling Task Force.
Compared to the previous day, the number was down by 63 from 6,254.
"The number was down by 63," said Joint Regional Defense Command I spokesperson Marine Colonel Aris Mudian in a written statement on Friday morning.
The Indonesian government recorded 56,757 new coronavirus cases yesterday, bringing the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the country to 2,726,803.
From Wednesday noon until Thursday noon, the total number of recovered coronavirus patients in the country increased by 19,049 to 2,176,412.
In the same period, Indonesia's official covid-19 death toll was up by 982 to 70,192.
