Another 583.400 Ready to Use AstraZeneca’s Covid-19 Vaccine Has Landed

Jakarta: A total of 583.400 doses of ready-to-use AstraZeneca vaccine landed in the country. The arrival of the 46th stage of the covid-19 vaccine has made Indonesia have pocketed 218.5 million doses of vaccine in bulk or raw materials or ready to use.
 
"The availability of the covid-19 vaccine in Indonesia can be said to be safe. During August, 43 million doses of vaccines have been received, both in bulk and finished forms. Then in September it is estimated that we will receive 60 million doses of vaccine," said a vaccination spokesman for the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) Siti Nadia Tarmizi, in a written statement, Wednesday, September 1, 2021.
 
According to her, if you look at the Ministry of Health's data, out of 34 provinces in Indonesia, there is only one province with less than 10 days of remaining vaccine stock. This problem was immediately anticipated with the delivery of the covid-19 vaccine to the province.

Nadia also said that as of today, Indonesia has succeeded in injecting 100 million doses of vaccine. The government, he said, is committed to continuing to work hard to accelerate vaccination by involving all stakeholders.
 
He reminded that vaccination could prevent people from becoming seriously ill if they contracted covid-19. Vaccines are very important so that people can live side by side with the covid-19 pandemic so that activities with new habits can be carried out safely.
 
"In addition to vaccines, we must maintain discipline in health protocols, especially wearing masks," he explained.
 
Bio Farma's Corporate Secretary, Bambang Heriyanto, said that from January to the end of August 2021, his party had distributed 129.891.072 doses to all provinces. During August 2021, Bio Farma sent 42.860.100 doses of covid-19 vaccine.
 
As of today, he said, Bio Farma distributed 3.064.640 doses of vaccine to 32 provinces. Distribution is carried out based on allocations and requests from the Ministry of Health by taking into account the availability of vaccines that have received lot releases from the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM).
