Jakarta: The Jakarta provincial government is recruiting more health workers in a bid to tackle the spread of covid-19 in Indonesia's capital.
"Applicants can register online," the Jakarta Health Agency's Disease Control and Prevention Dwi Oktavia said here on Thursday.
According to the Jakarta Health Agency, the local government want to recruit pulmonologists, internists, anesthesits, general practitioners, nurses, radiographers and lab staff.
"They will work from October to December" she explained.
On Thursday afternoon, The National Covid-19 Handling Task Force confirmed 4,634 new covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of confirmed covid-19 cases in Indonesia to 262,022.
From Wednesday noon to Thursday noon, the total number of confirmed covid-19 recoveries was up by 3,895 to 191,853, while the total number of confirmed covid-19 deaths was up by 128 to 10,105.
