Jakarta: Minister of Home Affairs Muhammad Tito Karnavian has appointed the Head of Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of West Java Dani Ramdan as the Acting Regent of Bekasi Regency.
The appointment was stated in Minister of Home Affairs Decree Number 131.32-1374 Year 2021 Dated July 21 in regards to the appointment of the Acting Regent of Bekasi.
Reported by Mediaindonesia.com, the document was received by reporters on Wednesday.
In the document, the Home Affairs Minister asked West Java
Governor Ridwan Kamil to inaugurate Dani Ramdan as the Acting Regent of Bekasi.
"Alhamdullilah we have (received information about the appointment as the acting regent of Bekasi)," Ramdan told Medcom.id on Wednesday
evening.
According to reports, the inauguration is set to be held on Thursday in Bandung, the capital of West Java province.
Dani previously serve as the Acting Regent in Pangandaran in 2020 for eight months.
