Military Chief Denies Dismissal Rumors

medcom.id, Jakarta: Indonesia Military Chief General Gatot Nurmantyo strongly denied rumors about his dismissal.
 
"They are baseless," said Gatot in the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Wednesday (11/9).
 
Previously, rumors emerged President Joko widodo will replace the army general with Air Marshal Hadi Tjahyanto. 

"There are ulterior motives behind these rumors," he continued.
 
Gatot stated the police will investigate the rumors. The police will track people behind the rumors.
 
"President said the police will investigate the rumor," he concluded.
