Muslim Groups Stage Demonstration, Demand Ahok's Suspension

medcom.id, Jakarta: Muslim groups staged another demonstration against Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) on Tuesday.
 
The protesters gathered in front of the Parliament Complex. They demanded Ahok's suspension. They also demanded Ahok's imprisonment.
 
"Ahok must get suspension," Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) leader Rizieq Shihab said.

"Ahok must go to jail," the controversial cleric continued
 
Ahok is a defendant in a blasphemy trial. The incumbent is also the frontrunner in the Jakarta gubernatorial election.
