medcom.id, Jakarta: Vice President Jusuf Kalla has suggested that President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and former president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) could meet after simultaneous regional elections.
Indonesia will hold simultaneous regional elections on February 15. The country will have 101 regional elections on that day.
"They could meet after February 15," Kalla said in Jakarta on Friday.
"The meeting might not become political," he continued.
Jokowi has met with many political figures recently. However, Jokowi has not met with SBY.
"He also wants the meeting. But some people prevent the meeting," SBY stated.
