Three More Trigana Air Victims Identified, Including Copilot

medcom.id, Jayapura: Disaster Victim Identifiction (DVI) of Papua Police again succeeded in identifying three victims of the Trigana Air incident. With the addition, it means that until the seventh day there are 24 victims who have been identified.
 
The developments were delivered by the Head of the Health Doctor Bureau of the Papua Police Hospital Bhayangkara, Grand Commissioner dr. Ramon Amiman, Wednesday (8/26/2015). Ramon stated that three identified victims were from body bags number 007, 025 and 015.
 
Ramon explained that from the identification of primary data of dental records, and secondary data of what was attached to the victim's body, it is confirmed that the body bag number 007 is Kepi Deal, 29, resident of Nome village, Pegunungan Bintang Regency. Body bag number 025 is Eki Kimki, 32, member of Pegunungan Bintang People's Representative Council. The body bag number 015 is identified as the copilot, named Ariadin Falani, 44, resident of Jalan Penjernihan, Bendungan Hilir, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta.

Ramon asked the families of the victims to be patient in awaiting the identification results. Currently, he explained, his party is trying to conduct DNA test at the forensics laboratory of Indonesian National Police in Jakarta. Which is why he has asked for the victims families waiting at the police hospital to return home.
 
"Identification continues with the method of DNA testing in Jakarta. If there is word of new identified victims, we will contact the family. As with the acquiring of new data. We are currently waiting for the DNA test," he said.
 
The copilot's body, Ariadin Falani, is to be flown to Jakarta by Batik Air. The Trigana Air plane fell at the Pegunungan Bintang Papua region, August 16. All passengers and crews passed away.
