medcom.id, Jakarta: PT Bandara Internasional Jawa Barat (BIJB) is confident that the Kertajati International Airport project can be completed next year.
"The soft launching will be held in the first quarter," BJIB president director Virda Dimas Ekaputra said at the Coordinating Minstry of Maritime Affairs office in Central Jakarta on Friday afternoon.
"The progress of the construction was recorded at 62 percent on September 24," he said.
Kertajati International Airport will be located in Majalengka, West Java. The international airport will be the main airport in the West Java-Central Java border region.
The international airport will be connected to the Majalengka-Cipali highway. It will be complemented with a new urban area development.
