medcom.id, Jakarta: Although Jakarta gubernatorial election is still one year from now, NasDem Party has confirmed it will support Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) to seek reelection.
"Today, although it is still unclear, you may record that Ahok is a priority for NasDem Party to continue his position in Jakarta," mentioned Chairman of NasDem Party, Surya Paloh, in Bali, On Saturday, January 16.
He mentioned Ahok is believed to have a good leadership style.
"I think it is good for Jakarta if he continues his position in the future," he mentioned.
Ahok is observed as honest person. He is also an expert in regional government administration. "Like in Jakarta with its complex problems as capital. He has many weaknesses, but if we support him with constructive advices, I think he can do greater things," he elaborated. (Metro TV).
