medcom.id, Jakarta: Police are still investigating the fatal ferry incident in the Jakarta Bay last week.
The Zahro Express ferry caught fire on Monday, January 1, 2017. The incident killed at least 23 people.
"We have found the boat owner," said the Jakarta Metro Police spokesman Senior Commissioner Raden Prabowo Argo Yuwono at the Jakarta Metro Police headquarters in South Jakarta on Friday, January 6, 2017.
"We have summoned the boat owner," he continued.
Previously, police detained the boat captain. They named the boat captain as a suspect.
"The boat owner is still a witness," he stated.
