medcom.id, Jakarta: The People's Conscience Party (Hanura) has appointed People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) deputy spekaer Oesman Sapta Odang as its new chairman.
The election was held on Monday (12/19) night. Oesman was chosen unanimously.
"Oesman fulfills all criteria," Hanura secretary general Berliana Kartakusuma told Metrotvnews on Tuesday (12/20).
The businessman will be inaugurated on Wednesday (12/21). The ceremony will be staged at the Hanura headquarters.
Oesman will replace retired general Wiranto. President Joko Widodo picked Wiranto as coordinating minister for political, legal and security affairs last July.
