medcom.id, Jakarta: The Minister of Maritime and Fishery Susi Pudjiastuti has become the public's most known minister. She is also considered as the minister with the most appealing performance.
"For the past six months of Jokowi-JK's (ministerial) cabinet, the most famous minister in the public is Susi Pudjiastuti," said the Executive Director of PolcoMM Institute Heri Budianto, in a public discussion titled 'Performance and Communications of Jokowi's Ministers: Is the Public Aware or Not?' at Gren Hotel Alia, Cikini Menteng, Central Jakarta, Monday (11/5/2015).
Heri conveyed that the conclusion was acquired from the research and study using the technical data collection method to 32,047 news stories from 15 national media. The research was conducted from October 2014 to April 2015.
The mass media, Heri continued, had positive opinions on Minister Susi's work, since she is considered as a positive and firm character. "The most positive work she was considered successful in was the sanctions of fish looters and the sinking of foreign ships," he said.
From the PolcoMM's notes, Susi had 12.2 percent of news report portion, followed by the Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasonna Laoly at 9.3 percent. Meanwhile, Minister of Education and Culture Anies Baswedan was recorded at 9.1 percent, as the Coordinating Minister of Law Politics and Security Tedjo Edgy Purdijatno followed at 8.3 percent. On the fifth rank is the Minister of Manpower Hanif Dhakiri with 7.8 percent. (Eps)
