Minister Denies PKI Revival

medcom.id, Jakarta: Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasonna Laoly denied a claim that the Indonesian Communist Party (PKI) has been revived by communist supporters in the country.
 
"PKI is no longer exist. According to intelligence, it is false," said Yassona at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Thursday (6/2/2016).
 
Previously, retired army general, Kivlan Zen, revealed during an anti-communist symposium that several communist supporters are going to declare the revival of PKI in the near future.

Yasonna advised Kivlan to report the detailed information to the governnment.  The PDIP politician promised that the government will take action if the information is reliable.
 
"If you have information then report it. Don't incite fear in the public," he underlined.
 
"PKI is outdated. Communism is outdated. Cuba has normalize relationship with the United States (US). North Korea is weak. Nobody wants it," he concluded.
