Freddy Budiman Listed in Third Round of Executions

medcom.id, Jakarta: The Supreme Court (MA) has rejected the case review filed by Indonesian drug kingpin, Freddy Budiman. Attorney General M Prasetyo signaled Freddy will be included in the third round of executions this year.
 
"What do you think? Public want it to be conducted immediately," Prasetyo said at his office, Jakarta, on Friday (7/22/2016).
 
Prasetyo mentioned that the government is ready for the third round of executions. He underlined that it will be held according to the procedure.

"We must follow the procedure. For foreigners, we need to inform the embassies. The convicts also need to be placed in isolation rooms before the executions. We will prepare clergies as well as shooting squads," he elaborated.
 
However, the Nasdem politician still refused to reveal the exact date of the executions.

Separately, National Police Chief Gen. Tito Karnavian said he fully supports the Attorney General's Office (AGO). He has prepared shooting squads for the executions.
