Mega Visits Jokowi at Palace

medcom.id, Jakarta: PDIP chairwoman Megawati Soekarnoputri visited President Joko Widodo at the Presidential Palace on Monday (11/21) afternoon.

Megawati arrived at the Presidential Palace at 12.30 PM. She went straight to the meeting place.

President Joko Widodo met with Golkar chairman Setya Novanto and Gerindra chairman Prabowo Subianto last week.

Jokowi urged the political leaders to ease tension after a mass protest against Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) earlier this month.

"For Indonesia, Pancasila, UUD 1945 and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika," Jokowi stated.
