medcom.id, Jakarta: Elevator in Arcadia Building Tower B, South Jakarta, fell today (12/10/2015) around 9 AM. At least two person died and another one is in critical condition because of the accident.
One dead victim was brought to Marines Hospital in Cilandak, South Jakarta. The victim was identified as Diah. While another dead victim was brought in Siloam Hospital, Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta. The identity of the second dead victim is not yet known.
Meanwhile, the victim who currently is in critical condition was identified as Abdurrahman, a janitor in the building.
"there are two victims in Cilandak. One female named Diah who died. One janitor named Abdurrahman who now is in treatment," said building management staff, Sahlani, Thursday (12/10/2015).
Food company, Nestle, is based in Arcadia Building. The company is not yet give information about the accident.
According to Sahlani, the elevator fell from third floor. "It is predicted fell from third floor to ground floor," said Sahlani.
