medcom.id, Solo: At around 9.17AM local time, on Thursday June 11, Gibran Rakabuming Raka officially married Roro Selvi Ananda Putri. In other words, Selvi is officially a member of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
Gibran had no trouble in the Ijab Kabul procession. He had only mentioned the oath once with confidence. In his oath, he stated to provide a dowry of a set of prayer equipment for Selvi.
The ceremony solemnly proceeded at the Graha Saba Buana Solo, Central Java. KH Abdul Karim opened the ceremony with the reading of Qoran verses, as it was witnessed by Purboyono and A. Yani, the local public figures.
Selvi was married by Muhtaraji as her guardian, who also acts as the headman and Head of Banjarsari Religious Affairs Office.
"Both are officially husband and wife, by Islam and the Marital Law," Muhtaraji said. (Eps)
