medcom.id, Tangerang: Tangerang Metro Police Resort found 50 drug capsules in the stomach of a Nigerian who was found dead at the Ibis Budget Hotel at the Soekarno-Hatta Airport. He died during an attempt to retrieve the capsules by cutting his stomach open.
Head of Anti-Narcotics Unit of Tangerang Police, AKBP Juang Andi Prianto said, the deceased was identified as Austin Chukwuma (25). At the crime scene, police found eight capsules retracted from his stomach.
"At least there are 50 more capsules in his stomach, but we don't know what they are yet. Hopefully will be revealed soon," Juang Andi Prianto said to Metrotvnews.com at Tangerang Resort Police Headquarters, Monday (6/1/2015).
Based on the investigation, a temporary indication stated that the narcotics within Austin's stomach are Crystal Methamphetamine and Heroin. "We will wait for autopsy for complete results," Juang added.
As reported, Austin Chukwuma was found dead two days ago following an attempt to pull out drug capsules from his stomach. Prior to his death, Austin had gone berserk at the hotel he was staying in and broke his room's windows and doors. "He ran to the receptionist through emergency stairs, shouting and died in front of the hotel," he stated. (Eps)
