medcom.id, Jakarta: Governor hopeful Sandiaga Uno visited Jakarta governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) at the City Hall this morning (8/12).
Sandiaga and Ahok discuss a wide range of issues, especially Jakarta gubernatorial election Next year.
Ahok lamented racist campaign against him ahead of the election. The former East Belitung regent is a Christian of Chinese descent.
"He is committed to fight the racial issues," said Sandiaga after meeting.
Sandiaga ensured Ahok he will not use black campaign in the election. The yong businessman will focus his campaign on economic issues.
"I want to create jobs and control prices," he stated.
Sandiaga currently is supported by Great Indonesia Movement (Gerindra) Party, while Ahok is supported by National Democrat (Nasdem) Party, People's Conscience (Hanura) Party and Functional Group (Golkar) Party.
