medcom.id, Jakarta: The Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) commander General Gatot Nurmantyo has received an apology from the Australian Defence Force (ADF) commander Air Chief Marshal Mark Binskin.
Previously, an Indonesian military official raised concerns about offensive teaching materials at an Australian military training center.
The Indonesian military official reported the incident last November. TNI suspended the cooperation a month later.
"He has apologized," Gatot said at Hotel Bidakara in South Jakarta on Thursday, January 5, 2017.
Gatot mentioned that ADF will investigate the incident. ADF also will revise its curriculum.
"We will wait the investigation," Gatot stated.
