Aviastar Plane Search Expanded

medcom.id, Jakarta: The operation to search the missing Aviastar aircraft was continued on Sunday morning, October 4. The search and rescue agency (Basarnas) expanded TE search into six sectors in South Sulawesi.
 
"Today the search was expanded to V and VI sectors, as this area are all unnamed beaches, so we named them sector V and VI. The expansion of the previous four to six sectors," said the Director of Operation and Exercise of Basarnas, Marines Brig. Gen. Ivan when contacted by Metrotvnews.com, Sunday (10/4/2015). 
 
Ivan mentioned that the search on sector V and VI were centered on the south and across the coastline. The team will also sweep the eastern part of the shore. 

"Will sweep the Suli to Siwa beach, eastern part of the beach from six sectors," he added.
 
The search of Aviastar DHC6/PK-BRM with flight number MV 7503 was conducted since 06.00 local time, through land track. Meanwhile for the aerial lines, the search operation will start at 07.00 local time.
 
The weather condition around the location this morning was reported good. "I saw the weather was good, clear," he added.
 
The Aviastar lost contact from the Air Surveillance Tower of Andi Djemma Airport on Friday, October 2, at around 14.36 WITA. The aircraft carrying three crews and seven passengers took off from Andi Djemma Airport at 14.25 WITA or 11 minutes before.
 
Aviastar DHC6/PK-BRM was piloted by Captain Iri Afriadi, Co-Pilot Yudhistira and technician Soekris Winarto. Seven passengers joining, among others were five adult passengers and two babies, named Nurul Fatimah Muhajir, Lisa Falentin, Riza Arman, M Nasir, Sakhi Arqam, M Natsir, along with the two babies named Afif and Raya.
