medcom.id, Jakarta: President Joko Widodo questioned Indonesian drug kingpin Freddy Budiman's testimony spread by human rights activist Haris Azhar.

The government executed Freddy last month. Not long after the execution, Haris claimed Freddy gave bribe money to law enforcement officials.

"It happened in 2012. Why did he not reveal it before?" Jokowi said in Nusa Dua, Bali, Thursday (8/11/2016).

Nevertheless, Jokowi is committed to investigate the allegations. He has established a special team for the case.

"I have instructed National Police chief to put the best people in the team," he continued.

Haris claimed Freddy gave Rp450 billion to National Narcotics Agency (BNN) officials and Rp90 to police officials. He also claimed a military general once delivered Freddy's drugs with his official car.
