Thousands of Workers To Hold Protest in Front of Palace

medcom.id, Jakarta: Thousands of workers will hold demonstration today (11/24/2015). They protest against government regulation on wage.
 
Jakarta Metro Police Operational Division Chief Sutimin said thousands of workers will move from East Jakarta to several area.
 
"Based on preliminary data, around 15 thousand workers will go to Istana Merdeka," he said (11/24/2015)

Jakarta Metro Police has prepared 6,000 officers to guard the protest and also the national strike that is held simultaneously.
 
The protest will be held in several locations like Jababeka, Cakung, Marunda, Tangerang and Istana Merdeka. The protest is planned to be held until 27 November.
 
Public are advised to avoid streets that will be used by workers. Public are also asked to avoid government office because workers make it as demonstration location.
