medcom.id, Jakarta: Attorney General HM Prasetyo said the government is preparing the next round of executions.
"We are preparing the next round of executions," he said at the parliament complex in Jakarta on Monday (9/26).
"It should be conducted properly without violating any regulations," he continued.
The government conducted the third round of executions in Nusakambangan island in Central Java last July. Officials executed one Indonesian and three Nigerians.
The government initially planned to execute 14 drug convicts. However, 10 drug convicts were excluded from the execution list at the eleventh hour.
