medcom.id, Jakarta: An Army helicopter crashed in Kalasan district, Sleman regency, Yogyakarta province on Friday (7/8) afternoon.
The incident occurred at around 3.35 PM. The helicopter reportedly hit two houses.
National SAR Agency (Basarnas) chief Felicianus Henry Bambang Soelistyo said the miitary leads the evacuation operation. The evacuation is still on going in the location.
"At least three people were killed and three other were injured," said Sulistyo to Metro TV.
The helicopter brought six crew. Until now, there are no reports on civilian casualties. The cause of the incident is not yet known.
