Police Name Zahro Express Captain As Suspect

medcom.id, Jakarta: The captain of the Zahro Express ferry Mohammad Nali has been named as a suspect.
 
The ferry caught fire in Muara Angke waters, North Jakarta on Sunday, January 1, 2017. The incident killed at least 23 passengers.
 
"The ferry was not seaworthy," Jakarta Marine Police head Senior Commissioner Hero Hendrianto Bachtiar told Metrotvnews on Tuesday, January 3, 2017.

The ferry reportedly carried around 200 passengers. However, the manifest only recorded around 100 passengers.
 
"The captain could face up to ten years in prison," he continued.
