medcom.id, Jakarta: President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo on Wednesday inaugurated Indonesian Center for Islam and State Studies (PSIK-Indonesia) chairman Yudy Latief as Presidential Working Unity for Pancasila Ideology development (UKP-PIP) chief.
The former Jakarta governor also inaugurated fomer president Megawati Soekarnoputri as UKP-PIP's steering council head.
The other UKP-PIP's steering council members are former vice president Try Sutrisno and former Constitutional Court chief Mahmud MD, Indonesia Ulema Council (MUI) chairman Ma'ruf Amin, Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) chairman Said Aqil Siradj.
The remaning UKP-PIP's steering council members are former Muhammadiyah chairman Syafii Maarif, former Indonesian Churches Council (PGI) chairman Andreas Anangguru Yewangoe, Indonesian Hindu Association (PDHI) chairman Wisnu Bawa Tenaya and Indonesian Buddhayana Council advisory council head Suddhamek.
"We will also have several deputies," Yudy said after the inauguration ceremony.
