medcom.id, Jakarta: Former Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) acting deputy chief Johan Budi Sapto Prabowo is rumored for presidential spokesperson post. However, Johan said he has not received official request from the palace.
"There are people informed me about the offer to be spokesperson. However, there is still no confirmation," said Johan, Jakarta, Wednesday (1/6/2016).
"Well, we should see what the spokesperson position is like, but there is still none (offering as spokesperson)," he added.
Johan has been rumored for the position since last year. However, the rumor is getting stronger recently.
Presidential chief of staff, Teten Masduki previously planned to meet Johan on Wednesday but it was cancelled.
Regarding the meeting, Teten denied it was scheduled to discuss spokesperson position. "It was just meeting and discussion with an old friend," mentioned Teten.
