medcom.id, Jakarta: PoliticaWave placed Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasonna Laoly on the big five of recommended ministers to be reshuffled. Minister Yasonna is considered to take part on Golkar Party’s chaos recently.
PoliticaWave conducted a special observation in several social media, on the cabinet reshuffle issue since May 1 to July 8, 2015. From the observation, 92,979 conversations were tracked from 15,512 different accounts.
From the data released by PoliticaWave, 91 percent of netizens thought that Yasonna should be reshuffled for his incompetency in resolving Golkar Party dispute, which is still unclear at present. As many as eight percent took the choice based on the controversy of the KPK Law revision, as one percent thought he lacked breakthroughs.
The founder of PoliticaWave, Yose Rizal stated the netizens’ assessment was based on two inseparable main indicators: the performance of the minister and the inability of communicating with public.
“We collect all of these based on the netizens’ conversations in social media and online media, by using keywords affiliated with the minister and filtering them. Then, it is then pulled to decide the sentiment of each conversation. There are neutral, negative and positive,” Yose stated in a discussion at KH Agus Salim road, Central Jakarta, Tuesday July 15, 2015.
From several conversations, Yasonna is the most recommended for reshuffle from 17 highlighted ministers. The big four of the reshuffle list are Coordinating Minister of Economy Sofyan Djalil, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Sudirman Said, Minister of Finance Bambang Brodjonegoro and Minister of Youth and Sports Imam Nahchrawi.
Yose concluded, the ministers were asked to conduct several actions to suppress the public urge to reshuffle the cabinet. Among others are to possess the ability and expertise on his/her field, people aspirated policies, supporting local economy, not conducting personal or party’s agenda, focus on the task and not meddling with other businesses.
Other recommendations include a meticulous in making policies to avoid revisions, not blundering or throwing our controversial statements, dare to make breakthroughs and innovations, as the coordinating minister is required to have coordinating skills.
“Moreover, there are lots of names rarely discussed by netizens. Not because of a dissatisfaction on the performance, but more to the lack of information regarding their performance. In the current communication era, ministers should have been able to communicate their work program to make public understand that the government is on the move,” he concluded.
Politic observer Ikrar Nusa Bakti considered the survey conducted by PoliticaWave is not entirely correct, due to netizens who only understood the surface and possessing less information.
He took an example of the public urge to Trade Minister Rahmat Gobel to be reshuffled for opening import valves. He said that all countries should conduct export-import between one another to boost international economy.
Economist Faisal Basri also added that the netizens’ excuse urging to reshuffle ESDM Minister Sudirman Said for using Petral’s jet facility is totally mistaken. He said Sudirman Said departed from Singapore to Lhokseumawe, Aceh, with Pertagas’ plane.
“It is impossible, he was in Singapore at 9 PM, and have to fly to Lhokseumawe. The commercial flights were unavailable. But he used Pertagas place who invited him in an event,” explained Faisal. (EPS)
