Jokowi Wants Improved Forest Management Policies

medcom.id, Jakarta: President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo has instructed related agencies to improve forest management policies.
 
"Current forest management policies are monotone. They are outdated," Jokowi said at the Forestry and Environment Ministry's office on Wednesday.
 
The PDIP politician urged related agencies to learn from other countries. He advised them to cooperate with developed countries.

The former Jakarta governor urged related agencies to review exisitng permits. He warned them to avoid questionable permits.
 
"We should implement corrective actions well. We should stop issuing permits easily," Jokowi said.
