The Directorate General of Food Crops of the Agriculture Ministry, Hasil Sembiring mentioned that the fund distribution has been prepared since last June, as it was written in the 2015 State Budget Revision (APBN-P).

The fund, continued Hasil, will be appointed for the procurement of several additional equipments to anticipate the drought. Hasil confirmed that the fund is to be used to procure tools which are not consumptive.
"Used for pumps and its supporting items as making shallow wells and small dams. There are requests from the public for large sized pipes. I think this week might be conducted," he revealed.
Nevertheless, Hasil thinks the condition of Indonesian farming sector is not at a concerning level yet. His party only anticipated should there be unwanted incidents.
"I think it is not necessary (for the people to worry). From our trip in Central Java, there are drought spots, but not many. If there were, they handled it on the spot," he revealed. (EPS)
