medcom.id, Jakarta: The hot ray of the sun did not break the spirit of thousands of temporary or honorary teachers to convey their aspiration to the people's representatives. They came to the People's Representative Council (DPR) Building, Jalan Gatot Subroto, Central Jakarta, to demand clarity on the fate of being the honorary employees.
"Don't be weak despite standing in the heat, Civil Servant (PNS) is the ultimate price," said the orator on top of a car in front of the DPR Building, Tuesday (9/15/2015).
They started to conduct their action since 08.00 local time (WIB), by wearing their uniforms complete with a headband written 'K2'. Some of the carried and waved flags in front of the people's representative building.
Due to the action, the traffic in front of the building was jammed, as line ups of vehicles from Semanggi to Slipi, due to the gathering of demonstrators in front of the DPR Building. Several police officers were seen guarding around the demonstration action to regulate the flow of traffic.
Not only that, the number of demonstrators coming to the premises had made the police to stand by in front of the building complex. They have anticipated any anarchy actions from the demonstrators.
As far as the information goes, demonstration is still ongoing. They take turns in conveying their aspirations on top of the command car in front of the complex.
