medcom.id, Jakarta: People started to leave the National Monument after they performed Friday prayer.
Muslim conservatives started the December 2 rally around 8 AM. They assembled at the National Monument.
They started the event with Quran recitacion. They then performed Friday prayer.
"Let's leave the location orderly," Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) chairman Rizieg Shihab said after Friday prayer.
President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) also attended the rally. Jokowi arrived at the National Monument before Friday prayer.
"I highly appreciate the participants," Jokowi said.

Muslim conservatives conducted the December 2 rally as a follow up to the November 4 protest. They demanded the police to charge Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) for blasphemy during the protest.
