medcom.id, Jakarta: A non-governmental organization has reported Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) chairwoman Megawati Soekarnoputri for allegedly committing a religious blashpemy.
"We received the lawsuit on Monday, January 23, 2016," said National Police spokesman Rikwanto at the National Police headquarters in South Jakarta on Tuesday, January 24, 2016.
"We will process the lawsuit normally," Rikwanto continued.
The Alliance of the Children of the Nation for Anti-Defamation questioned her speech during the 44th PDIP Anniversary. The civil society organization claimed that she insulted Islam.
"The group reported Ibu Megawati," Rikwanto stated.
