medcom.id, Makassar: An aircraft owned by Garuda Indonesia airlines overshot at the Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport, Makassar, South Sulawesi, Tuesday June 2.
The flight had departed from Soekarno-Hatta airport, Cengkareng, Banten, to Makassar.
Based on information gathered by Metrotvnews.com, the GA 618 flight skidded at around 14.34 local time (WIB), as it the Boeing 737-86N slid out of the runway.
Following the news, there have been no official information from Garuda Indonesia. The plane allegedly skidded due to bad weather, as the current situation at around the airport is still raining. Passengers of the ill-fated aircraft was transported into the airport by bus. (Eps)
