medcom.id, Jakarta: Djarot Saiful Hidayat was inaugurated as definitive Jakarta governor at the Presidential Palace on Thursday, June 15, 2017.
Former Jakarta Governor Basuki "Ahok" Tjahaja Purnama Ahok was sentenced to two years in prison for commiting blasphemy last month. Ahok withdrew his appeal for his two year jail term few weeks later.
"We will still follow good governance standards," the PDIP politician said.
Jakarta Governor-elect Anies Rasyid Baswedan be inaugurated next October. He will lead the capital for the next five years.
"We will still have four months," the PDIP politician said.
