medcom.id, Jakarta: House Deputy Speaker Fadli Zon has urged the government to submit the general election draft bill.
"It is the government. Do not blame the House," said Fadli at the Parliament Complex in Jakarta on Wednesday (10/19).
Indonesia will hold general election in 2019. The Gerindra politician mentioned the bill should be passed into law at least two years before the general election.
"We will only have few months to discuss the bill. We urge the government to submit the draft bill immediately," he continued.
"It could affect the quality of the law," he concluded.
