Metrotvnewes.com, Jakarta: The Jakarta Metro Police prevented a methamphetamine smuggling operation in Serang, Banten on Thursday, July 13, 2017.
Police seized 1,000 kilograms of the drug. They also gathered other pieces of evidence.
Police shot dead a Taiwanese drug smuggler named Lin Ming Hui. They also captured alive two Taiwanese drug smugglers named Chen Wei Cuan and Liao Guan Yao.
"One suspect is still at large," the National Police spokesperson Senior Commissioner Raden Prabowo Argo Yuwono said.
The Jakarta Metro Police cooperated with the Depok Resort Police. It also coordinated with the Taiwanese Police.
